First time working with Chris H the man definitely knows his stuff and how to get things done. I'll post the specs after I place a call this week to get the ball rolling. She passed away last November, so this one is for Carolyn and it'll have her name on it. I happened to be absolutely fine with that mandate. She knew this model by name and sight, and for the past few years maintained the next one had to be a purple V220. Throughout 30 years, 7 months, and 23 days of marriage she was my #1 fan (sometimes bodyguard) and NEVER complained about the Carvins that lived in our house. I bought my first Carvin V220T in 1985, a year before I met and married my wife. There are a few specs that to my knowledge have never been done on a V220 before. Jeff will show it off because it will be both a great labor of love and a Kiesel masterpiece. MatiasTolkki wrote:Pics or it didnt happen bro And if that's gonna be the mother of all V220s, Jeff better darn show it on facebook. I hope I can get my V220 that low Due to work keeping me super busy since I started my new job, I haven't had as much time as I would like to play all of my babies, but I still consider the V220 to be the best body shape Kiesel has, and I love how it sounds, and the simplicity of the build. I really need to lower the action though, I got my JB200 super low recently and that's so it feels closer to my E-II. This guitar is lighter than my JB200 by quite a bit but it has tone for days. I typically go between my E-II and JB200 more often because I haven't found a comfortable way to play standing with my V220 yet (still working on it btw, but it's definitely better than before). I've recently been going back to mine the past few days. I want all V220 owners to spread the love of this amazing model So I know I've been pretty critical of Kiesel and certain things lately, BUT I figured, as a change of pace, I'd start a love fest over the coolest guitar model Kiesel has (outside of the old jb200 with active electronics): The v220.
